Transformation effects

A transformation effect is the item that starts an Shape Shifter Curse form. Use it on yourself to enter the form, then gain experience to unlock later stages. Each form has its own stage IDs, instinct rules, equipment limits, and environmental costs.

The effect is consumed on success. An inhibitor can return a normal Shape Shifter Curse form to its previous state, but Shape Shifter Curse Addon special forms are marked inhibitor-immune. Do not assume that an item works across every branch; use the form page and the route diagram before consuming an evolution item.
